Chocolate Chia Protein Pudding (Printable Version)

Silky chocolate chia pudding with plant protein, lightly sweetened and perfect for breakfast or dessert.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup chia seeds
02 - 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
03 - 1 scoop plant-based protein powder, chocolate or vanilla
04 - 1 cup plant-based milk, such as almond or soy
05 - 3 tablespoons maple syrup or agave
06 - Vanilla extract and salt, optional, to taste

# Steps:

01 - In a medium bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of chia seeds, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 scoop of protein powder, and a small pinch of salt.
02 - Slowly add 1 cup of milk while stirring. This helps to keep the mixture smooth. Make sure everything is well combined.
03 - Add 2-3 tablespoons of your chosen sweetener. Stir until it’s fully mixed in. You can taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.
04 - Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid. Place the bowl in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight. This allows the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken into a pudding-like consistency.
05 - Stir the pudding again before serving to make sure there are no clumps. Serve as is or top with fresh fruit, nuts, or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
