# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/4 pounds ground beef, 90% lean
02 - 2 teaspoons olive oil
03 - 1/2 cup finely diced onion
04 - 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
05 - 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
06 - 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
07 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
08 - 3/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
10 - 1 large egg
11 - 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes

12 - 1/4 cup ketchup
13 - 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, optional

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a standard loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onions until translucent, about 3–4 minutes. Transfer to a plate and allow to cool slightly.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, blend ground beef, crumbled bacon, panko breadcrumbs, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, egg, cheddar cheese cubes, and cooled onions. Ensure an even distribution without overmixing.
04 - Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, gently shaping it into a firm loaf.
05 - Spread ketchup across the surface. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) and the loaf is cooked through.
06 - Remove from the oven and rest for 5 minutes. If desired, garnish with chopped parsley before slicing and serving.
