Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Slice brie cheese into pieces approximately 2 inches long and 1/4 inch thick to fit inside each jalapeño half.

Place a slice of brie inside each jalapeño half. Arrange the halves snugly on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they stay upright.

Spoon 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over each jalapeño. If using canned cranberry sauce, stir briefly to loosen before topping. Sprinkle chopped toasted pecans over each, if desired.

Bake for 13 to 17 minutes, or until brie is melted and bubbling and jalapeños are slightly softened.

Remove from oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve warm.
