# Ingredients:

→ Meat

01 - 1 pound thawed cooked ground beef

→ Vegetables

02 - 1/2 cup diced onion
03 - 2 tablespoons diced jalapeno

→ Canned Items

04 - 28 oz can crushed fire roasted tomatoes
05 - 14 oz can diced fire roasted tomatoes
06 - 1 cup chicken broth

→ Seasonings

07 - 2 tablespoons homemade chili seasoning

# Steps:

01 - Brown ground beef, drain, and cool completely.
02 - Store beef in 1 pound portions in freezer bags.
03 - Chop onions and store in separate freezer bags, or add 1/2 cup directly to each bag of ground beef.
04 - Remove stems and seeds from jalapeños and dice. Store in separate freezer bags, or add 2 tablespoons to each bag of ground beef.
05 - Mix up a batch of chili seasoning.
06 - Either freeze individual ingredient bags as prepared, or combine seasoning and all ingredients in a single bag before freezing.
07 - When ready to use, heat in slow cooker until vegetables are tender and all ingredients are thoroughly heated.

# Notes:

01 - Use regular or fire-roasted tomatoes according to taste preference.
02 - Consider adding ingredients like garlic, bell peppers, squash, black beans, pinto beans or fresh tomatoes for variety.
03 - For single servings, freeze cooked chili in individual portions for quick reheatable meals.
04 - Store in refrigerator up to 2 days before freezing. Properly sealed frozen chili will maintain quality for 3-6 months.
05 - Thaw completely before cooking in the slow cooker for best results.
