Brown ground beef, drain, and cool completely.

Store beef in 1 pound portions in freezer bags.

Chop onions and store in separate freezer bags, or add 1/2 cup directly to each bag of ground beef.

Remove stems and seeds from jalapeños and dice. Store in separate freezer bags, or add 2 tablespoons to each bag of ground beef.

Mix up a batch of chili seasoning.

Either freeze individual ingredient bags as prepared, or combine seasoning and all ingredients in a single bag before freezing.

When ready to use, heat in slow cooker until vegetables are tender and all ingredients are thoroughly heated.
