# Ingredients:

01 - 3 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into large chunks
02 - 2-3 tablespoons Southwest spice blend, homemade or store-bought
03 - 1 tablespoon jarred minced garlic
04 - 2 chipotle peppers in adobo
05 - 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
06 - ¼ cup orange juice
07 - 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
08 - ½ cup beef broth
09 - 2 tablespoons tomato paste

# Steps:

01 - Place chunks of beef in the slow cooker.
02 - Sprinkle the meat evenly with the Southwest spice blend.
03 - Add garlic, chipotles, adobo sauce, orange juice, lime juice, beef broth, and tomato paste to the slow cooker. Stir lightly to distribute the seasoning and tomato paste in the liquid.
04 - Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the beef shreds easily.
