Lazy Day Ravioli Lasagna (Printable Version)

Frozen ravioli, tomato sauce, and cheese combine for a simple, delicious Italian-inspired layered dish.

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce

01 - 6 cups homemade meat sauce or 48 ounces (2 24 oz jars) marinara sauce

→ Pasta and Cheese

02 - 1 package (20 to 25 ounces) frozen cheese ravioli
03 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
05 - 1 cup ricotta cheese, optional

→ Garnish

06 - Fresh basil leaves

# Steps:

01 - Spread 1 to 2 cups of sauce evenly over the bottom of the slow cooker.
02 - Arrange a single layer of frozen cheese ravioli over the sauce. Spoon 1 to 2 cups of sauce on top, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan, and dot with ricotta if desired.
03 - Continue layering ravioli, sauce, and cheeses until all ingredients are used, finishing with sauce and a generous layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
04 - Cover and cook on low heat for 3 to 4 hours, until ravioli is tender and cheese is fully melted.
05 - Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and additional Parmesan if desired.

01 - For extra flavor and nutrition, add finely chopped spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini between the layers.
