Arrange a single layer of frozen cheese ravioli over the sauce. Spoon 1 to 2 cups of sauce on top, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan, and dot with ricotta if desired.

Continue layering ravioli, sauce, and cheeses until all ingredients are used, finishing with sauce and a generous layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Cover and cook on low heat for 3 to 4 hours, until ravioli is tender and cheese is fully melted.
