# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds flank steak
02 - 3 tablespoons homemade steak seasoning
03 - ½ cup beef broth

# Steps:

01 - Use an oval or rectangular slow cooker if possible to allow beef to spread out. Avoid a round slow cooker.
02 - Pour beef broth into the bottom of the slow cooker.
03 - Place the flank steak in the slow cooker and sprinkle the top evenly with homemade steak seasoning.
04 - Cover and cook the steak on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
05 - Remove the cooked steak and place it on a cutting board to rest for 15 minutes.
06 - Slice the steak against the grain into ¼ to ½ inch thick slices and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Store sliced steak in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
02 - Reheat in a skillet with a splash of broth or water, or microwave in short bursts covered with a damp paper towel to prevent drying out.
03 - Cooking on low produces the best texture. Cooking on high may result in slightly tougher meat.
04 - If the steak is still chewy, cook it longer until tender, checking in 30-minute increments.
05 - Use a sharp knife to slice the steak against the grain easily.
