Add chicken to the slow cooker.

Whisk together all remaining ingredients, except for cornstarch.

Whisk cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water until smooth, then whisk into the sauce.

Pour sauce over chicken in the slow cooker, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Remove chicken, shred, and return to the sauce.

Serve with rice or vegetables and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
