# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds beef or bison stew meat
02 - 2 teaspoons flour (can be gluten-free)
03 - 2 tablespoons pot roast seasoning or steak seasoning (homemade or store-bought)
04 - 1 small sweet onion, chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon jarred minced garlic
06 - 2 tablespoons butter
07 - ½ cup beef broth

# Steps:

01 - Place beef in slow cooker and toss with flour and seasoning to coat evenly.
02 - Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
03 - Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8-10 hours.
04 - Serve over mashed potatoes or noodles and top with fresh chopped parsley.

# Notes:

01 - Store leftover steak bites in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat on the stovetop with a splash of broth. Avoid overcooking if using a microwave by reheating in short intervals.
02 - Cut the meat into uniform-size pieces for even cooking or buy pre-cut stew meat.
03 - For the most tender results, cook on low. Use high heat if short on time, but note that the meat may not be as tender.
04 - Prep ahead by combining all ingredients (except broth) in a freezer bag and storing in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Add the contents of the bag to the slow cooker, then add the broth, and cook as directed.
