Leave green beans out for about 30-60 minutes or defrost in microwave for 3-4 minutes until just defrosted but not warm or soggy.

In a small skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter along with olive oil until pan is warm enough for green beans to sizzle.

Add green beans to the pan and saute, stirring occasionally for about 3-4 minutes.

Add garlic and onion to the pan and continue stirring for another 3-4 minutes until greens are heated through, and garlic and onion are crispy and starting to brown.
