# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds top sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch chunks
02 - 1 tablespoon mirin
03 - 6 cloves garlic, finely minced or pressed
04 - 2 teaspoons ginger paste
05 - 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon sesame oil, divided
06 - 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
07 - Kosher salt, to taste
08 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

→ Vegetables

09 - 3 medium carrots, cut thin on a bias
10 - 2 medium zucchini, sliced lengthwise and cut into half moons
11 - 5 ounces baby bella mushrooms, sliced

→ Seasonings & Sauces

12 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
13 - 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce or Japanese BBQ sauce
14 - Fried rice, for serving
15 - Yum Yum sauce, for serving

# Steps:

01 - Combine steak chunks with mirin, minced garlic, ginger paste, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, ground white pepper, and kosher salt. Mix thoroughly, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
02 - Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add carrots, zucchini, and mushrooms. Cook, stirring frequently, until vegetables are tender but retain structure, approximately 6–8 minutes. Sprinkle with garlic powder and toss to combine.
03 - In a separate skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons butter with 1 tablespoon sesame oil over high heat. Add marinated steak in an even layer. Cook until browned on all sides and cooked to desired doneness, about 3–5 minutes.
04 - Divide freshly prepared fried rice among serving bowls. Top each with sautéed vegetables and seared steak. Drizzle with teriyaki or Japanese BBQ sauce and Yum Yum sauce. Serve immediately.
